Position Summary

The Content Marketing Manager is a key contributor within the association marketing team and will work with other contributors across Marketing, Sales and Customer Success departments to create and execute on an engaging editorial plan that delivers the brand promise of Higher Logic and its solutions. The Content Marketing Manager should be an experienced storyteller in both long and short-form written content, and as well experienced in multimedia formats such as video and podcasting. The Content Marketing Manager should bring an innovative mindset to the role and be excited to try and measure new content ideas that help drive engagement and ultimately new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

· Nurture prospects throughout the buyer’s journey through stories, articles, and ebooks.

· Manage the editorial calendar and the Higher Logic Association podcast channel.

· Serve as editorial subject matter expert on marketing communications produced by various marketing teams.

· Develop new ways of sharing and producing engaging content to connect with appropriate audience(s).

· Tailor messages to our audiences, marketing channels, and media types, while developing assets that are engaging and meaningful to readers.

· Drive all steps of writing projects: from concept, to execution, to the evaluation of each project’s success.

· Conduct all business in accordance with Higher Logic policies and procedures.

· All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· BA/BS degree, with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in marketing communication strategy and campaign building, B2B software experience strongly preferred

· A proven track record communicating products or services in a clear and compelling manner, supporting the buyer’s journey.

· Adaptable writing skills, with the ability to engage any audience, on their level, and on their terms.

· Ability to work closely with other content creators, providing detailed briefs and spec documents along the way.

· Knowledge of different content planning and creation processes, knowing how and when to best apply them.

· Experience in multiple forms of content creation including online, offline, video, podcasting.

· Independent worker and self-starter.
