As the first Data Science hire, you will help design ML/AI applications and services that help manufacturers understand, manage, and optimize their electronics supply chain. This is a high visibility, fast-paced environment that will leverage your statistical and analytical skills, and your ability to work in a team environment. Working closely with the founders and the lead data engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on high impact, cutting edge products that transform how hardware is being manufactured.

What you will do:

  • Design, own, and implement core pieces of our data ingestion, analysis, and prediction pipelines
  • Leverage machine learning to help match unmet demand with untapped supply of electronics components
  • Dive into data that describes how the most innovative hardware products are made and reinvent how they can be manufactured
  • Make tons of impact and have critical project ownership, all the while learning how this crucial yet hidden industry works
  • Be a part of a fast paced environment that prioritizes value to the end user above all


  • 3+ years of post-academic data science experience
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, data structures, probability, and statistics
  • Proficiency in SQL; experience with SQL and No SQL databases
  • Experience with Python, pandas, and machine learning and predictive modeling libraries
  • Experience writing production quality code
  • The ability to communicate cross-functionally, derive requirements and deliver insightful analyses; ability to synthesize, simplify, and explain complex problems to technical and non-technical peers
  • Eager to learn new technologies and to hone your business knowledge


  • Experience with Linux, Airflow, Docker, Git, AWS, Tableau
  • Knowledge of big data tools
  • Familiarity with software development best practices
