• Setup and maintain internal trackers and databases for investment metrics, reporting deadlines, calendar meetings, and other deliverables.
• Monitor the performance of WhiteHorse portfolio companies, including reviewing financial reports, attending company presentations and board meetings, and participating in diligence sessions with private equity sponsors and management teams.
• Conduct financial analysis including three statement modeling, financial 3 statement and 13 week cash flow forecasting, modeling capital structures, investment return scenarios, and other quantitative analyses.
• Assist with the preparation of investment memorandums and supporting analyses. Participate in diligence discussions with underwriting professionals and WhiteHorse Investment Committee.
• Assist with project management for complex transactions including managing internal and external advisors, legal counsel, third-party consultants, and vendors.
• Review/comment on legal documentation including credit agreements, term sheets, NDAs, engagement letters, and loan amendments/restructurings.
• Prepare investor updates and other written reports for external meetings and investor reporting.
• Assist in managing owned/controlled company portfolio accounts post restructuring
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong qualitative and quantitative skills, interpersonal communication, attention-to-detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and have experience authoring presentations and other written materials.
• Prior work experience in leveraged finance, private credit, or restructuring advisory is required.
