Our local headquarter in Barcelona includes Marketing, Sales, Customer & Dealer Success, People & Culture, Finance, and Business, while Product and Engineering are provided by teams located across Europe. In that context, we are hiring a People Operations Specialist.

Job purpose:

As a People Operations Specialist, and working with OKRs, you will collaborate with the People & Culture Manager in building the department from scratch in Spain and you will define and establish different processes and procedures.

What your responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: design the recruiting strategy, screen candidates, conduct interviews based on skills, and be the main point of contact for external recruiters and partners.
  • As part of the team, take on responsibility for the content in HR administration and the maintenance and professionalization of our digital processes.
  • Manage the preparation of our payroll and be the connection point for our payroll partner.
  • Be a contact partner for management staff and employees on all matters of employment law and administrative processes.
  • Ensure the best employee experience, and take action to guarantee a great work environment.
  • Participate in new projects where we need your ideas: performance review, compensation & benefits, health & safety, and communication, among others.
  • Purchase new office supplies and be the point of contact for the coworking.

What you bring to the role: 

  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, People Operations Specialist, or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a recruiter.
  • Completed studies or training with a focus on Psychology or Business Administration, or similar qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Spanish employment law.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Soft skills:

  • Very good analytical thinking and strong communication skills.
  • Friendly person with the ability to build effective working relationships with people.
  • Handle different tasks at the same time.
  • Manage confidential information, and good work ethic.

Valuable:

  • Experience in a start-up environment.
  • Experience working with OKRs.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources.
  • Other languages. German is a big plus.
