JOB SUMMARY

As the Senior Ecommerce Specialist for our Amazon Marketplace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and driving revenue growth. You will be part of a small, dynamic, multi-role team where You will have the opportunity to strategize, execute, and optimize our Amazon marketplace operations, ensuring that we reach and exceed our sales and profitability targets. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, deep knowledge of Amazon's platform, and a passion for e-commerce. You will work with a small team and support other ecommerce 3rd party channels and our primary website safetygloves.com on Shopify. Some days you will work on other ecommerce channel projects.

LOCATION

The position will be in-office at our headquarters at Grand Rapids, Michigan.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • FBA Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure products are in stock and available to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock situations.
  • Listing Optimization: Understand the difference between product features and product benefits. Create and maintain compelling product listings, optimizing content, images, and keywords to enhance discoverability and conversion rates.
  • Marketing and Advertising: Plan and implement Amazon advertising campaigns, including sponsored product listings and pay-per-click (PPC) ads, to maximize ROI through Helium 10.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Amazon Marketplace Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our Amazon marketplace presence, including product listings, pricing, and promotions, to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Competitive Analysis: Understand industry trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to identify opportunities for growth and market differentiation.
  • Customer Experience: Answering customers questions and order issues. Continuously improve the customer shopping experience, including managing customer feedback and addressing product-related issues promptly.
  • Performance Analytics: Utilize data and analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Compliance and Operations: Ensure adherence to Amazon's policies, guidelines, and standards, as well as manage day-to-day operations, such as order processing and customer inquiries.
  • Vendor and Partner Relationships: Collaborate with vendors, Amazon representatives, and third-party service providers to optimize operations and enhance our marketplace presence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A positive attitude personality and a team player.
  • Proven experience managing and growing an e-commerce presence on Amazon or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon's marketplace, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce tools and analytics software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in department team projects.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a fast-paced environment in a growth minded company.
  • A passion for e-commerce and staying updated with industry trends.

BONUS IF YOU

  • Amazon B2B experience.
  • Have experience with other software such as Helium 10, Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgias, Desktop Shipper, photoshop, SAP, and MuleSoft.
  • Have experience with other 3rd party ecommerce channels like eBay, Walmart.com, and other online retailers.
  • Love to learn new things, software or skills.
