Position Overview:

We are seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to architect a brand new native offering to our customers. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to ensure alignment with business objectives. Your expertise in Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK, and strong leadership abilities will be paramount to breaking ground in this greenfield space.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
Design and develop advanced applications in the iOS platform for a seamless user experience
Communicate cross-functionally with our product managers, designers, and engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
Maintain code quality, performance, and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers or those interested in mobile development to foster our culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Implement and keep best practices with coding standards, testing, and version control.
Incorporate the latest industry trends and technologies into the development process when appropriate.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle.

You will likely have:

7+ years of experience building iOS applications in Swift
Mastery of iOS frameworks SwiftUI, Swift Data
Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as XCTest and a commitment to writing tests for all code changes.
Proficiency in refactoring code with architectural patterns like MVVM
A deep understanding of the iOS SDK and platform and ongoing dedication to learning
A track record of technical leadership and exceptional problem-solving skills
A track record of leading technical teams through positive change
Experience successfully advocating architecture improvements to multidisciplinary stakeholders
A solid CS fundamentals background

You may have:

Mentorship or want to transition to people management
Start-up and/or digital health are nice to have but not required
GraphQL
Computer Science degree
Firebase
Google (GCP)
XCUnitTest Experience
HIPPA or SOC2 experience
