THE ROLE:

As a Senior Vice President at MMC, you will play an essential role in helping to lead the success of key healthcare accounts. Specifically, you will focus on a biopharmaceutical client’s cardiovascular and bone franchises. In this role, you will be challenged with the exciting growth opportunity of providing proactive strategic senior counsel to multiple clients, leading a high-performing integrated team, and driving program development and delivery across multiple workstreams.  

Your passion for data, science and innovation coupled with your knowledge/ability to quickly learn the landscape will be critical in leading the strategic approach to data and regulatory milestones and branded and unbranded programs across various stakeholders. You will manage integrated programs that may include surround sound efforts that are comprised of earned and paid media, patient/advocacy/HCP/influencer engagement, social/digital media, talent/partnership integrations, along with issues preparedness and management.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:  

  • Drive the development of creative and strategic plans for servicing clients, growing existing client business, and ensuring that all program objectives are understood and executed  
  • Proactively contribute ideas internally and with clients throughout the programming process and in client presentations  
  • Lead high-performing integrated team across workstreams 
  • Lead program development and play a key role in client presentation meetings 
  • Approve key client reports, appropriate correspondence, and press materials 
  • Counsel clients on strategic direction of programs/accounts 
  • Manage account budgets and conduct client budget conversations for brands you manage 
  • With support of Project Management, assign team target hours for billability and profitability, effectively managing programs and ensuring efficiency  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 10+ years of brand management; experience in cardiovascular, bone or related therapeutic categories is a plus but not required 
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience and the ability to lead and manage integrated marketing work teams 
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketing and communications 
  • Understanding of FDA rules and regulations and ability to lead high-science accounts 
  • Proven track record in client service, strategy development and execution, creativity, new business pitches/presentations 
  • Creative, entrepreneurial drive; ability to plan strategically  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation skills 
  • Galvanizing presence, ability to manage diverse personalities, and strong client relationship skills 
  • Budget management experience
  • Ability to generate revenue producing initiatives, new business and organic growth

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($154,000-$230,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
