Helios Service Partners is hiring a Business Analyst (BA). The Business Analyst will provide daily reports, updates, and analysis based on business needs week-to-week. This may include preparing financial reports, operations data analysis, etc. He/she will also lead projects to improve operations processes and collaborate with members of other departments to generate reports and analyses. In addition, he/she will update and maintain key dashboards to provide leaders of the business with an updated view on performance. This position must be willing to travel 25 % of the time to visit operations centers and stakeholders, but otherwise remote.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:
- Collect, organize and analyze large volumes of data from various sources
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets to derive meaningful insights
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover opportunities for improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and objectives
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, or similar)
- Customize dashboards to meet specific business needs and user preferences
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all dashboard outputs
- Create visually appealing and intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and trends
- Implement best practices in data visualization to enhance comprehension and user engagement
- Incorporate interactive elements and drill-down functionalities to facilitate deeper data exploration
- Present findings and insights to diverse stakeholders, including executives, managers, and cross-functional teams
- Clearly articulate the implications of data analysis and dashboard metrics in business terms
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to iteratively improve dashboard designs and functionality
- Establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
- Document data sources, transformations, and methodologies used in dashboard development
- Develop and maintain documentation for dashboard users, including instructions and data dictionaries

WHAT SETS YOU APART:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or a similar related field (alternatively, adequate experience in the field with a portfolio of work may be suitable)
- Strong proficiency with Excel
- Proficiency with a data visualization tool (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Data-oriented mindsight and experience working with datasets in the hundreds of thousands of records
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote colleagues
Helios compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $85,000 annually in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios’s compensation may also include an annual bonus as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
