You will work within our operations team. You will build small or light subassemblies, test components, ensure quality, and repair faulty parts. You will work closely with different team members to meet schedules, use electrical or pneumatic tools and hand tools, perform essential quality control inspections and rebuild defective assemblies. You will set up and operate the necessary equipment and machinery. You will repair and rework defective or returned assemblies, keep the work area clean and organized, and complete special projects as needed.
About you.
- You have a desire to learn new things and grow professionally.
- High school diploma/equivalency certificate or higher
- 2+ years experience with various hand tools
- Mechanical or Electrical Assemblies experience,
- Physical ability to squat, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds as well as stand for extended periods of time
- Demonstrated proficiency with measuring, hand and shop tools,
- Proficient in the installation and termination of the cabling system is preferred,
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret work instructions, drawings, short correspondence, and memos,
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations within the organization
Additional experience and qualifications:
- PLC Experience,
- Winding machines,
- Vacuum systems,
- Soldering,
Per Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act the range for this position is $21/hr - $28/hr. Actual salary is based on education, experience, and other qualifying skill sets.
