Heartbeat - VP of Sales West Coast

Location: Venice, CA


Heartbeat is looking for a Vice President of Sales on the West Coast that will be responsible for leading and overseeing our LA-based sales team.


Heartbeat connects brands directly with the Millennial and GenZ audiences they are

trying to reach, and consumers with the brands they genuinely love. Our network of

over 210,000 real consumers create scalable, ROI-focused user-generated marketing

campaigns on social media, proving that word-of-mouth is the best marketing channel

out there.


Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a West coast sales team comprised of 2-3 Account Executives

• Meet/exceed revenue goals on monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

• Utilize a full suite of product offerings to close business around Influencer brand campaigns, and customer acquisition style product campaigns.

• Manage current client and agency relationships and build new relationships with prospective clients

• Ensure account executives are submitting stellar marketing presentations that resonate equally with partner and audience demands

• Support CRO in researching trends and innovative ad products and bring market-leading solutions into the conversation

• Keep abreast of forthcoming marketing and editorial developments and special promotions to communicate with advertiser base, as well as attend networking and marketing events

• Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports


Requirements:

• 10+ years of media sales experience meeting and/or exceeding quotas

• 7+ years of sales management experience

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Exceptional client relationship and communication skills

• Ability to work cross-departmentally to ensure the success of client programs

• “Win-Win” attitude with a hunger to meet and exceed goals

• The desire to work in fast-paced and deadline driven environment

• Occasional travel required


Pay structure

For this role, you’ll have a competitive base with huge upside via commissions with no cap.
