At Hayden, Consultants are responsible for leading project workstreams, designing & executing analytical workplans, and mentoring our junior team. Throughout your tenure, you will be focused on workstream oversight and moving into project leadership. Successful Consultants define and break down problems, identify actionable recommendations, and craft final deliverables for our clients. While we focus on the life sciences industry, you will learn business & strategy foundations that can be applied broadly throughout your career.  

Daily & Monthly Responsibilities 

Data Analysis & Research Mastery 

  • Design & execute against comprehensive analysis plans
  • Guide technical development of junior team, ensuring they understand Hayden-aligned business methodologies & rigorous QC methods

Generating Insights & Storytelling 

  • Extract key insights across workstreams and organize into key themes

Product Content & Delivery 

  • Build content so that it is organized into a clear storyline and logical flow, leveraging analytical frameworks 

Project Management 

  • Lead project workstreams with minimal guidance, making connections across the project to drive outcomes

Who You Are 

  • A problem-solver who evaluates potential solutions based on their expected impact to broader project objective(s) 
  • An analytical thinker who critically assesses data gathering & methodology to ensure conclusions, research quality, and team assumptions are sound
  • A mentor who shares best practices and expertise to support the development of junior team members
  • A detail-oriented person who ensures client deliverables are consistently accurate and reflect the highest quality of analysis standards
  • A team player who demonstrates curiosity and fully listens to others points of views and opinions

 Minimum job requirements

  • 2-3 years related experience in consulting, data analytics, or other relevant areas within the life sciences
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree desired but not required)
  • Understand analytics, analytical approaches, and how to interpret and enhance data analytics created by junior staff
  • A willingness or ability to travel as needed (10-15% on average)
