The Opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic, brand centric, Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the customer activation and go-to-market operations for our Adult sleep solutions. In this role, you will work across the full customer journey, beginning with the Product team by providing voice of the customer insights, and helping to inform the roadmapping process. You will also work across the marketing team on GTM operational plans for product and feature releases, keeping the customer’s unique needs top of mind. The ideal candidate will have experience building GTM plans for technology brands, understand positioning, naming, market analysis, and have executed software and/or hardware launches. You will own the marketing plan for conception to execution, partnering with the integrated marketing team to bring to market. All the while balancing insights from beta groups, customer research, and product. This role is highly cross functional and will involve working closely with the entire marketing team, product organization, customer research, retail group, and beyond. 

This person must be based in the United States or Canada. Hatch is based out of California, so this role would be asked to be available during PST/PDT hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand and own the customary journey map from pre purchase to onboarding
  • Identify product opportunities by developing and owning the voice of the customer insights report and market research analysis 
  • Rally the teams and develop the narratives and proposals for positioning new features, uncovered from the VOC analysis 
  • Prepare the GTM plans internally and partner with integrated marketing teams to bring to market
  • Determine new feature launch communication strategies, ensuring existing customers needs are continually met
  • Create product positioning, naming, managing competitive research, identify further research opportunities
  • Assist on launch campaign execution, managing cross functional timelines across marketing, product, retail, etc

Who You Are

  • 7-10 years of experience in a high growth product marketing position
  • A strong writer and communicator - you can think of product positioning in your sleep
  • Experience working in a high growth environment, juggling multiple product and feature launches simultaneously
  • Highly collaborative with experience working closely with product teams
  • Metrics driven with a strong brand balance
  • Direct experience creating and GTM processes
  • Experience and familiarity with consumer tech product and subscription businesses is a plus.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Flexible and adaptable. You are equally as comfortable spending your day in the weeds as you are collaborating with others.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency. You can easily manage competing priorities and short deadlines.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to think quickly on your feet, adapt to a highly variable environment, change scope and focus with ease.
