The Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate, analytical, detail focused Lifecycle Marketing Operation Associate to execute our lifecycle campaigns across email and mobile. In this role, you will be a key contributor to delivering omnichannel, delightful, highly personalized customer messages. You will oversee all lifecycle messaging for both of Hatch’s product lines. You should thrive in a fast paced environment, and be quick to make strategic data driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience with customer segmentation, managing third party platforms, and a keen focus on LTV growth. You are testing obsessed and constantly adding ideas and concepts to your testing roadmap. This role is extremely cross functional and will involve working closely with the entire marketing team, data & analytics & product management teams.

This person must be based in the United States or Canada. Hatch is based out of California, so this role would be asked to be available during PST/PDT hours.

What You'll Do

  • Execute email, push, and mobile campaigns for lifecycle, triggered, broadcast, and transactional messages.
  • Lead AB testing initiatives across audiences, creative testing, and channels.
  • Create and own the testing roadmap and reporting
  • Be the owner of campaign setup, customer segmentation, and QA.
  • Develop Hatch’s personalization strategy to test across the customer journey.
  • Be detail obsessed - you will own the end customer experience, ensuring all campaigns are planned and launched on time.
  • Work closely with the LCM &  Product Marketing teams to manage launches and with the data & analytics team to develop rich customer segmentation. 
  • Be the go to for LCM platforms, managing vendor relationships and discovering new opportunities to streamline workflows. 
  • Identify new customer communication channels, working with Prod & Eng to build out third party applications. 
  • Manage monthly reporting and development of LCM dashboards. 

Who You Are

  • 2-4 years of experience in a marketing operations role, preferably in lifecycle marketing.
  • A problem solver…You like to understand the expected outcome, get the context, and then work entrepreneurially to get it done.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Operations is a plus)
  • Comfortable diving into new tools and tech and figuring out how best to utilize them to increase LTV.
  • Direct experience working in various ESPs & Engagement Platforms  (Iterable, Braze, Airship, Mandrill preferred) and Customer Data Platforms.
  • Experience and familiarity with consumer tech product and subscription businesses is a plus.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Flexible and adaptable. You are equally as comfortable spending your day in the weeds as you are collaborating with others.
  • Familiar with the dynamics of a fast-paced (and fast-growing) company, and the importance of clear communication
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency. You can easily manage competing priorities and short deadlines.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to think quickly on your feet, adapt to a highly variable environment, change scope and focus with ease.
