We’re looking for our first Account Executive! So far our founder has led the sales process with the support of a GTM team of one. We now have enough pipeline that we need additional coverage and want someone with sales experience to come shape the sales-side of our organization. Ideal candidate will come with experience selling into data teams.

Hashboard is in the early phases of product market fit - we have amazing customers that absolutely love our product and are starting to repeatably win deals against large incumbents. Come help us turn on the next phase of growth 🚀

We’re a customer-obsessed and product-centric org, so we’re expecting our first AE to work closely with our product team and help us figure out what we should be building. Success in the first six months will be bringing in valuable new logo's and business that will help shape the future of the product. You'll work with the Founder and CEO to develop goals, quotas and help build out the sales playbook.

Your day-to-day will involve prospecting, developing relationships with prospective customers and getting deep in the data visualization and analytics space.

About you

  • You’re entrepreneurial and self-starting. Excited to take ownership of customer relationships and collaborate on product development.
  • You’re empathetic and excited to learn about our customers and help them achieve their own objectives and visions. If we're successful we get the data leaders that adopt us promoted: you're excited to get our champions promoted.
  • You’re excited to use learnings to effectively inform of our product development org, giving us feedback on roadmap and helping contribute to our product vision.
  • You’re excited about working with data scientists and data engineers, and are excited to learn about their technologies.
  • You’re interested in data analytics and optionally have some experience in data or other technical domains.
  • Are an experienced or natural sales person with knowledge of how to run a consultative sales process.
  • You’re organized and are excited to build a system for finding new business. We use Hubspot as our CRM today, and are keep things lightweight, but you’re excited to drive CRM process and collect good sales funnel data.

Nice-to-have

  • Have worked in startups before and in enterprise software.
  • Have worked in a sales role before. 2-5 years of experience and excited to grow a new team.
  • You’re excited to potentially manage a sales team in the next year or two.
