Harry’s Inc. started in 2013 with a specific goal: disrupt the shaving industry by creating an innovative, everyday product at a fair price. Since then, Harry’s has expanded to Canada and Europe, developed relationships with retailers such as Target and Walmart, expanded our grooming brand into a personal care powerhouse, launched three new brands including Flamingo, Cat Person, and Headquarters, and made our first brand acquisition with Lumē.

Overview
 
We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Digital Product Manager to join the Harry’s team in London. Reporting to the Director, Digital Product, you’ll be responsible for overseeing digital product for Harry's across multiple geographies, defining and executing the product roadmaps, creating amazing direct-to-consumer (DTC) experiences and ensuring our product initiatives ladder up to our broader brand and commercial objectives.

At Harry’s, the Digital Product team represents the customer, and our mission is to build powerful, direct-to-consumer experiences that will delight customers and make their lives easier. In the last couple of years, Harry’s has seen rapid international growth, resulting in the creation of a dedicated Engineering and Digital Product team in London to oversee our evolving product needs and facilitate continued rapid expansion. You’ll work side-by-side with product designers, engineers, marketers, and researchers to turn the ideas we co-create into beautiful, thoughtful web experiences that resonate with our customers.

By having a direct and real-time relationship with our online customers, we hone in on customer needs, ideate the best product and design solutions to serve them, and build user-centric experiences. We then launch, measure and iterate on solutions and don’t rest until we find the right answer for our customers. 


About You

You’re a tenacious problem solver, able to identify and quantity the value of potential digital product opportunities. You have a strong understanding of the wider business and brand strategy and how digital product fits into, and can contribute to, the bigger picture.  

You’re hands-on and resolute in finding creative paths, letting nothing stand in the way of clarity, prioritisation and execution. You have an insatiable appetite for understanding your customers and are  committed to finding digital solutions that meet their needs, sweating the details and tying them back to an overarching strategy. 

You’re a competent collaborator, comfortable building and talking milestones with developers, user experience with designers, copy and positioning with brand marketers, numbers with analysts and finance, and strategy with senior management. 

You’re highly organised and can drive a project through from start to finish with multiple stakeholders, whilst being mindful to create a positive and enjoyable working environment. You enjoy building things from scratch and are a natural self-starter. 

What you will do

  • Define and manage the product roadmap for new product and features, including planning and execution, setting and continuously managing expectations with all relevant stakeholders, including the senior team.
  • Identify and quantify the value of potential product opportunities, thinking enterprise-wise and customer-first, prioritizing these opportunities against the roadmap and re-shaping accordingly. 
  • Create and maintain sequencing of projects, prioritization and trade-offs for both short-term and longer-term strategic goals, communicating regularly to the team and broader stakeholder group
  • Identify and drive customer discovery needed to define and refine the product roadmap (usability, customer interviews etc.), own and track the budget assigned to this. 
  • Partner with a UX Designer, Email Manager, Eng and Analytics teams to execute against your roadmap, plan and deliver CRM / retention / loyalty initiatives to increase customer engagement and LTV
  • Identify, implement and integrate user research, market insights, and customer feedback into product requirements and new feature development. Work with the Insights team to help facilitate and oversee spend against budget. 
  • Apply insights to define KPIs to analyse the success of product initiatives and A/B test results to support product decision making, including: setting sample sizes for tests, understanding when statistical significance has been reached, and forecasting LTV impacts of product initiatives
  • Own on-site merchandising and coordinate new product and campaign launches with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, legal and other internal teams
  • Define and continuously identify opportunities to improve the product development process and culture 
  • Shape DTC goals, actively contributing to DTC-level WSKR and goal refreshes, taking a role in the Int’l Leadership Group, and working closely with the Brand and Retail Teams to ensure digital product is supporting the higher level brand and omni-channel commercial objectives 
  • Monitor the market, develop competitive analyses and educate internally on best practices
  • Support the engineering team, run and participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and daily standups. Continuously monitor the team velocity and improve the process in order to achieve higher efficiency. 
  • Advocate for product across the business and raise Harry’s digital product profile within the DTC community 


What you bring:

  • 3+  years of experience in a high-growth e-commerce environment 
  • Expertise in writing product requirements, managing the backlog and ability to research and present new ideas
  • Proven success in identifying, measuring and evaluating performance metrics
  • Strong and accurate quantitative and analytical abilities with a passion for data-driven decision-making and influencing through data 
  • Expertise redefining and building insights-led and customer centric user experiences
  • Comfortable communicating with designers, developers and marketers through wireframes, product requirement briefs, insights etc...
  • Expertise in a range of web analytics and A/B testing tools - Google Analytics, Heap, Optimizely, HotJar, SurveyMonkey and usertesting.com
  • Experience working successfully with cross-functional teams of marketers, designers and developers through the product lifecycle - including product/feature vision, sprint planning, feature development, launch, iteration & optimisation
  • The ability to draw out the best from a broad array of multi-faceted teams, and develop an atmosphere that generates creativity, positive collaboration and meaningful work
  • Unwavering entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in no matter how big or small the task
  • Comfortable with a high-level of ownership working in a fast-paced environment, and owning projects end-to-end. 
  • Be unphased by complexity and ambiguity - you have an dedicated focus and commitment to understanding the what, the why, and so what 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and practices
