What is Cat Person?
Cat Person is a new DTC (direct-to-consumer) brand shaking up the $75B pet industry by bringing respect, love and innovation to a long overlooked and underserved category: cat care. We started Cat Person because we saw a real need: thoughtfully designed food and goods made just for cats and the people who love them.
Launched in March 2020, and born out of Harry’s Labs, the innovation arm of Harry's Inc., Cat Person offers a line of essentials to help cat parents better care for their cats, including food, treats, furniture and toys. A design-forward brand, we consider both the cat’s and the cat person’s needs in everything we make and do. It’s all part of our mission: to make life with cats even more awesome than it already is.

About the Role
As the Senior Associate of Influencer Marketing, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with influencers, content creators and tastemakers ultimately shaping the community around a new disruptor brand built for modern cat persons.
We are looking for someone who’s passionate about building a community that better reflects real cat people today and debunking the outdated stereotypes in the process. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship building and an understanding of influencer marketing in the social space. You will report to the Director of Brand Marketing.
What you will accomplish:
Own and operate Cat Person’s influencer strategy developing and growing brand relationships and executing programs to drive incremental awareness for the brand & products across digital & social platforms.
Identify, track and engage influencers, content creators, and tastemakers throughout the year for both paid and gifted programs.
Develop program briefs that drive brand awareness and brand loyalty.
Source and vet influencers and tastemakers, develop incentives, negotiate contracts, terms and content rights and facilitate product delivery while partnering with the Social Media Manager and the Growth Marketing team to maximize impact.
Brief influencer partners, manage content feedback and approvals, and oversee the content calendar including posting, reposting, tracking and performance.
Analyze performance metrics for influencer campaigns (updating monthly reports), monitor competitors and establish and standardize KPIs and benchmarks.
Monitor and track influencer activity identifying opportunities to further build relationships and loyalty.
This should describe you
You have 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing.
You are a relationship builder, creative thinker and have a passion for fostering relationships with consumers, influencers and tastemakers.
You have strong relationships skills and are a clear and effective communicator.
You are able to immerse yourself in customer insights and actively develop a strong understanding of consumers and consumer behavior that can be applied to how you approach community building.
You can analyze influencer performance data to uncover future opportunities and optimizations.
You have a good understanding of how to take a brand vision, voice, look & feel and craft program activations with partners that align and support it.
You are able to provide constructive and effective feedback to partners whenever something feels off brand.
You are passionate about cats and / or animals in general.
