About the Role

We’re looking for a Developer Relations professional to bridge the gap between our engineering team and the developer community. This role is highly technical, requiring deep knowledge of software development and modern developer tools. You’ll be responsible for engaging with developers, creating technical content, advocating for best practices, and fostering a thriving developer ecosystem around our products.

Responsibilities

Technical Advocacy & Content Creation

• Develop code samples, tutorials, blog posts, and documentation to help developers understand and integrate our technology.
• Create engaging technical presentations, webinars, and workshops to showcase best practices.
• Contribute to open-source projects and build demo applications to highlight product capabilities.

Community Engagement & Support

• Actively engage with developers on forums, Discord, Slack, Stack Overflow, and social media to answer questions and gather feedback.
• Organize and participate in hackathons, meetups, and conferences to build relationships with developers.
• Identify and support developer champions and advocates within the community.

Product Feedback & Developer Experience

• Act as the voice of the developer community, gathering insights and feedback to improve product usability.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing) to ensure developer needs are met.
• Advocate for developer experience improvements by contributing to documentation and onboarding processes.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with JavaScript, Python, Go, or another modern programming language.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and developer tools.
• Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and contribution best practices.
• Ability to showcase real-world applications using our technology.

Community & Communication Skills

• Passion for educating and engaging developers through content, events, and discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating technical documentation, blogs, or videos.
• Comfortable speaking at conferences, webinars, and meetups.

Bonus Points

• Prior experience in Developer Relations, Advocacy, or Evangelism.
• Active participation in developer communities, forums, or open-source projects.
• Experience working with startups or fast-growing tech companies.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000
