Harmony Venture Labs is looking to add a Venture Analyst to our team. Our Venture Analyst will report to the Director of Product Delivery to evaluate new concepts to determine the size of the opportunity they represent as well as the fit with the HVL Mission and Vision. The Venture Analyst will be responsible for research and market analysis to aid in determining market fit and opportunity. Must be experienced and comfortable with financial reports, business records, and data. 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with CEO and Director of Product Delivery to generate and evaluate B2B SaaS business concepts for potential new venture creation.

  • Conduct market research and analysis of key markets to understand trends, challenges, and opportunities to explore.

  • Analyze competitive landscape of key markets to assess potential opportunities for differentiation

  • Lead or co-lead customer discovery interviews with target buyer personas during discovery phase for new venture concepts

  • Support Director of Product Delivery in taking selected concepts through a process to validate product-market fit

  • Assess, score, and assist with prioritization of new opportunities to take through validation and launch

Who You Are 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Quantitative and analytical skills

  • Possesses a high level of attention to detail

  • Naturally curious and continuous learner 

  • Self-guided with high levels of internal motivation and initiative  

  • High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
