Hanover is looking for a dedicated Senior Consultant to join the Life Science Advocacy team.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Consultant, your expertise and project management skills will be crucial in navigating our clients through the political and regulatory landscapes. You will provide strategic advice, manage client workstreams, and play a proactive role in new business development.

You will provide tactical advice on political processes and draft comprehensive briefing notes for EU political representatives. You will be responsible for developing and supervising stakeholder events, ensuring their high-quality delivery. Additionally, you will prepare and review submissions for consultations from EU institutions and key stakeholders, maintaining detailed and accurate communications, reports, and client deliverables. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders in the Brussels bubble is crucial, as is attending and supporting client meetings with media or policymakers. You will also contribute creatively to new business pitches and brainstorms, while identifying and securing new opportunities.

In your role, you will promote Hanover's values and champion inclusion within the team. Mentoring and supporting junior team members is a key aspect, contributing to their development and growth. You will also participate in the recruitment process, helping to identify and select high-quality candidates who align with our values and goals.

You will establish relationships across the business, including with teams in other markets, to foster a collaborative environment. Working closely with the Digital, Strategy & Insights, and Creative teams in London, you will ensure a unified approach to our projects. Additionally, you will help foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for new team members, ensuring they feel part of the Hanover family from day one.

Your role will also involve ensuring that client projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You will have a comprehensive understanding of company budget processes and financial systems, managing them effectively. Timely and accurate submission of timesheets and expenses is also a critical part of your responsibilities, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability.
