OVERVIEW:

As Gymshark’s global presence continuously expands, so does its obligations from a tax perspective. Reporting to the Head of Tax, the Indirect Tax Manager will manage the Group’s indirect tax compliance globally. 

We’re looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to partner with external and internal stakeholders, delegate effectively to junior members of the team and drive positive change within the business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Management of Indirect Tax Compliance globally, including UK, EU, Canada and US.
  • Identify process improvements and use technology to drive automation, increase efficiency and reduce risk for the business.
  • Manage relationships and budgets with advisors to ensure Gymshark is getting highest level of service and competitive fees.
  • Drive change to meet ever-evolving real-time reporting and e-invoicing obligations globally.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the business’ three-year plan by providing indirect tax input and partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders on exciting projects.
  • Manage domestic and international indirect tax audits.
  • Coach, develop and delegate to junior members of the tax team in Indirect Taxes to enable focus on strategic objectives.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in practice or in-house
  • CTA qualified or equivalent
  • Technologically proficient
  • Ability to analyse and process large sets of data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work proactively, independently and always consider pertinent next steps
  • Strong work ethic and prioritisation skills

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
