OVERVIEW:

Join us as a Trims Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the timely procurement and management of trims for our exceptional sporting apparel.

This role is not just about overseeing; it's about shaping products and enhancing the prowess of our trims team. Your expertise in trims development will be paramount as you lead the charge in sourcing, developing, and managing all trim components.

As our Trims Manager, you'll work hand in hand with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Development and Sourcing. It's not merely about coordination; it's about collaboration, ensuring that every trim meets our stringent quality benchmarks and design specifications. 

Your wealth of trims development experience will serve as the cornerstone of your success, guiding your team to excel in every aspect of their responsibilities. You'll be leading a team that's instrumental in ensuring that every garment reflects our commitment to quality, innovation, and style

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Managing material developments from concept to PO placement.
  • Establishing technical approval in line with timelines, creative direction, and sourcing strategy.
  • Ensuring high-quality trims are delivered on time for manufacturing.
  • Collaborating with Design, Sourcing, and Product Buying teams for product development.
  • Leading and developing Trim Developers.
  • Contributing to the material toolbox.
  • Leading material allocation meetings and drive consolidation for efficiency.
  • Partnering with suppliers to source and develop materials from concept to production.
  • Negotiating and delivering trim prices, innovate, and drive sustainability initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Proven trims development expertise, aligning with product requirements.
  • Track record in managing a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of technical materials and fabrications.
  • Deep grasp of apparel design and development processes.
  • Expertise in trim physical properties and performance testing.
  • Strategic problem-solving ability with materials.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
