THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Mid-level Backend Software Engineer to our Professional Services team in Brazil!

Within our Professional Services team, we are steadfastly committed to crafting tailored solutions that address the unique requirements of our clients. Every day, we convene with teams from diverse regions to collaborate on revenue strategies and pioneering approaches to enhance the Gympass product for our partners.

You'll collaborate closely with the product manager to shape the new Gympass integration product architecture. Your focus will be on process automation and delivering bespoke reports. Moreover, we are embarking on an exciting internal migration project, necessitating the integration of over 90 connectors into this new programming environment.

We are in search of a professional with a leadership mindset, capable of suggesting enhancements and fostering communication between the technical team and the product development team. YOUR IMPACT

  • Act as an engineer in an international team, building APIs and integrations across various systems to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Manipulate and transform data according to client preferences.
  • Track tasks and document deliverables.
  • Conduct meetings with internal and external clients to understand scenarios, map demands, perform validations, and more.
  • Create reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Query data and generate user-specific data reports.
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports to identify and correct issues.
  • Identify business and process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor business metrics.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;
  • Proficiency in Clean Code and development best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/NodeJS.
  • Experienced in working with SQL/NoSQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB, understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls;
  • Experienced with REST APIs, familiar with HTTP best practices, and integrations.
  • Ability to manipulate and convert CSV and XLSX data formats.
  • Advanced/Fluent English proficiency.
  • Experience with high-traffic APIs (handling thousands of requests per second).
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking;
  • Previous involvement in international projects.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Desired: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, version control, and GIT;
