We are hiring a Senior Software Backend Engineer to our “anti-fraud” team in Brasil!
This role is to join the Anti-Fraud team, responsible for identifying, preventing, and removing fraudulent actors from Gympass. We work closely with all teams inside Gympass to identify potential fraud vectors and the actions to take in order to prevent and/or remove these fraudulent actors. We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer with a solid history in designing and building systems from the ground up to help us design and build our anti-fraud system that can easily be used by any team at Gympass.
You will be responsible for co-designing and building an anti-fraud system for Gympass. This will require you to work with multiple teams and our data scientists to identify possible fraud vectors, decide which actions should be taken, design and build the system that will allow the data scientists to create rules and ML models to identify and prevent fraud from taking place.
Your work will have a direct impact on Gympass' finances and on the continued success of the company.
WHO YOU ARE
⦁ You've designed and built medium-to-large systems from the ground up in any programming language for at least 3 years
⦁ You can work both autonomously and collaborate in a team environment
⦁ You have written design docs and were able to present them in a meeting setting in English.
⦁ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
⦁ A self-starter who can multi-task and adapt to a fast-growing organization
⦁ Experience with the Go Programming Language is a plus.
⦁ Experience with anti-fraud / anti-abuse is a plus.
