The Challenge
The Salesforce Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation and optimization of our revenue and customer support processes within the Salesforce ecosystem. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The Mission:
- Process Design:

- Design end-to-end solutions, incorporating industry best practices, Salesforce capabilities, and integration points.
- Create comprehensive architectural diagrams, process flows, and solution documentation.
- Technical Leadership:

- Provide expert guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies, tools, and third-party applications that complement the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Oversee the development of technical specifications and ensure adherence to design principles.
- Data Management:

- Define data migration strategies and oversee data cleansing and transformation efforts to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, flows, and understanding of custom code (Apex, Lightning Components) to support requirements.
- Performance Optimization:

- Monitor system performance and collaborate with technical teams to implement optimizations
- Solution Governance and Compliance:

- Ensure that the solution proposed complies with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead solution reviews and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support, and Revenue teams to ensure solution meets business needs.
- Present technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentorship and Training:

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to junior admins and development teams.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' understanding of processes and Salesforce best practices.
Your Experience Includes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect credentials.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- Strong understanding of support and professional service processes, including lead management, opportunity tracking, quoting, pricing, and contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $164,000 - 184,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $199,000 - 223,000/yr for San Francisco, New York, and Seattle. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, level, and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
