The Head of Remote Experience will be responsible for ensuring Gusto’s People programs provide purpose, belonging, and equitable experiences for Gusto’s growing Remote employee population. This role will be responsible for exploring technology & behavioral solutions that help connect Remote employees, managing remote People programs and driving engaging community experiences. We are seeking positive, service-oriented and hard-working individuals with a passion for helping others and an excitement for our brand. This role will be empowered by the Head of Environment.

What it is like to Work with Gusto

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Ensure internal company communications feel relevant to the remote experience 
  • Collect and evaluate data to help reduce possible pain points caused by a hybrid work environment 
  • Build and share best practices focused on home office set up, meetings and technology, development and visibility and work life balance 
  • Support managers with information on how to grow and develop remote employees
  • Manage Gusto’s company remote travel program and policy to create face to face opportunities for the moments that matter
  • Source and execute on new remote Gustie engagement experiences

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • Ideal candidate has experience supporting a remote first company. 10+ years experience in a People role, 5+ years in a remote role, and supported a company with 2,000+ employees
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills & Ability to effectively communicate with the team at large and teams across office locations
  • Independent Vendor and Project Management experience
  • Have working knowledge of Google business applications, including Gmail, GCalendar, Google Drive, and Google Docs
  • Are positive and energetic with a passion to drive the Gusto values to unparalleled levels!
  • Have a "can-do" approach and are determined to get the results you want.
  • Stay cool under pressure and are able to effectively prioritize tasks.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $125,000 - $185,000 in Denver & most remote locations, and $145,000 - $215,000 for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
