Your mission as the Lifecycle Marketing Manager for the Accountant Program will be to accelerate growth in our in-direct channel by implementing and optimizing high-performance campaigns throughout an accounting partner’s lifecycle with Gusto. You’ll drive engagement through educational content and awareness of Gusto’s People Platform offerings. You’ll work closely with our marketing operations, channel, and partner marketing teams to conceptualize key moments of interaction across our user journey to ensure we’re communicating with partners in strategic, timely, and thoughtful ways. You’re data-driven and customer obsessed.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Develop Lifecycle Marketing Partner strategy - Own the Partner lead and customer journey by mapping and prioritizing key touchpoints to achieve goals. You’ll create and manage a test and learn roadmap to maximize the impact of tactics against goals
  • End-to-end Program Management - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and teams to share and align on strategy. Develop clear briefs for execution by ops partners and brand studio team when appropriate. Ensure analytics are enabled to understand the impact of tactics. Participate in demos with Marketing ops to QA campaign setups.
  • Monitor>Analyze>Iterate - Review results from a messaging engagement standpoint to identify opportunities for optimization. Report out on outcomes of tactics against key performance indicators to stakeholders. Execute on iterations to optimize impact or implement go-forward strategy

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle marketing, Growth Marketing, or a related position
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage omnichannel marketing programs that have a quantifiable impact
  • Ability to set strategy, roadmap development, and execution of tactics
  • Experience with marketing automation software and CRM, Marketo and Salesforce a plus
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated usage of the scientific method
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong data analysis capabilities - Excel a must, SQL a plus 
  • A wildly curious person who uses a variety of qualitative and quantitative tactics to understand everything there is to know about the customer journey
  • Deep knowledge in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in consumer financial services marketing, retail, healthcare a plus but not required

Our cash compensation range for this role is $82,000/yr to $126,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $99,000/yr to $152,000/yr in San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
