The Employer Branding MBA Intern will sit within the Recruiting Operations team, solving for Gusto’s hiring needs through targeted and engaging branding, positioning Gusto as a premier employer. You will be responsible for driving the success of our brand through attraction and reputation strategies.
You would be the first hire for this program, and would have room to grow and work independently on a wide range of initiatives—some of which aren’t yet well-defined. Your job is to help define the role, identify key projects, and then execute them.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Partner with the Recruiting leadership and Marketing teams to develop and execute an outreach strategy for building Gusto’s brand as an employer of choice in the technology space
Quickly learn Gusto’s organization and build relationships internally to drive collaboration and buy-in for employer branding initiatives.
Drive awareness and interest in Gusto through online channels (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, careers site), conference participation, competitions, blog entries, meet-ups, speaking engagements, etc.
Scale the top-of-funnel pipeline for future Gusto talent broadly, initially focusing on engineering hiring and then pivoting to the rest of the organization
Leverage data to make decisions and prioritize action across a broad set of demands
Identify key metrics for measuring employer branding impact and results
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Currently pursuing an MBA degree
Authorized to work in the United States
Passion for recruiting and marketing
Strong communication skills – ability to convey a message through inspiration and influence
Analytical thinker who seeks and finds answers in data
Process-oriented, with a tireless focus on quality of output and increasing throughput
