What You’ll Experience as a Data Analytics Consultant at TGG:

What You'll Work On:
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics effectively.
- Leverage SQL, Python, and Excel to clean, transform, and manipulate data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analyses to assess the effectiveness of business changes.
- Develop and implement data solutions, such as data warehouses or cloud platforms, to support client initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders—ranging from product managers to senior executives—to present insights and drive decision-making.
- Contribute to TGG’s Data & Analytics Consulting practice by sharing expertise and supporting business development efforts.

What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum 6 years experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields, with demonstrated success in leading or contributing to data and analytics projects in a quantitative, data-driven, or highly analytical business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Industry expertise in healthcare, retail, and / or insurance.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Required:
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Preferred:
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Adobe, or other BI / Visualization tools.
- Familiarity with data warehousing platforms including Fabric, Synapse, Databricks and Snowflake.
- Understanding of industry-specific systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or EMR systems like Epic.
- Data Handling: From cleaning and preparing raw data to developing advanced visualizations for strategic decision-making.
- Statistical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of statistical methods, with exposure to machine learning methods as a bonus.
- Certifications:
- Azure Solution Architect, Certified Power BI Data Analyst, AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications, or equivalent (highly valued).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in fast-paced settings.
- Transform complex data into actionable insights, empowering leaders to make informed decisions and drive actions.

Salaries vary and are dependent on considerations such as: experience and specific skills/certifications. The base plus target bonus total compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $160,000. Additional compensation beyond this range is available as a result of leadership and business development opportunities. Salary details are discussed openly during the hiring process.
Work Environment:
TGG is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and has team members living in various locations across the United States. Our clients' onsite and travel requirements vary—some may require daily onsite visits, while others might be monthly, quarterly, or as needed. Because of this, our consultants must be adaptable, with the ability to travel and work both remotely and onsite. Each engagement has unique conditions, and we work collaboratively with both our client and team members regarding onsite and travel requirements.
