The Ad Operations Specialist is part of GumGum’s growing Ad Operations team, whose primary responsibilities include the management, optimization and analysis of all ads throughout the GumGum platform. The Ad Operations Specialist will focus their attention on a number of strategic ongoing relationships. This candidate will also coordinate the development of improvements to existing systems & processes in conjunction with the Account Management and Engineering teams. Lending technical and operational know-how to help better support and inform our sales and planning teams, our clients, and our product teams, ensuring we continue to offer best-in-class network services for brands of all sizes.

Note: This position offers the opportunity for remote work or 'work from home' as there isn't a nearby office. What You'll Achieve

  • Campaign Management
    • QA, monitor, and optimize campaigns to ensure top metrics.
    • Handle and organize 20-30 unique campaigns per quarter.
    • Consult with team members for campaign success and client satisfaction.
    • Provide end-of-campaign reports and performance metrics to management.
    • Use various tracking/monitoring tools for brand safety and success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with team leaders and Engineering teams to test and improve products.
    • Formulate media plans and campaign strategies with Pre Sales teams.
    • Collaborate across departments to analyze data and provide deliverables.
    • Troubleshoot discrepancies and technical issues.
  • Analytics and Efficiencies
    • Achieve 90%+ of campaign goals.
    • Analyze campaign data to determine best practices.
    • Test efficiencies and new processes across campaigns and teams.

Skills You'll Bring

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years in Ad Operations or technical client service, including trafficking, optimizing, and pacing digital ads.
  • Familiarity with self-serve and auction ad platforms.
  • 1+ year of experience with analytic tools like Looker and Datorama.
  • Experience with ad serving systems (DCM), DMPs, DSPs, and research study vendors.
  • Knowledge of common KPIs and optimization techniques.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills.
  • Strategic thinking, time management, and self-direction.
  • Proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver organized results.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for digital technology.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative skills across Customer Success & Operations.
