Note: GumGum currently operates in a ‘work from home’ virtual environment with sporadic opportunities for in-person business and morale events (health guidelines permitting). There will not be any requirement to go into the office on a daily basis moving forward.

Overview

The Marketing Manager, EMEA is a key role within GumGum’s regional marketing team in producing and executing in-region marketing campaigns that drive new revenue and grow existing accounts in multiple EMEA markets with a focus on the UK and Germany. This individual is a persona-centric campaign executor and responsible for coordinating with global marketing functions and regional teams to deliver campaigns that drive results.

Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager,  EMEA this role requires a detail-oriented, self-starter who will be accountable for creating content, events, emails and experiential activities for multiple EMEA markets incl. Germany, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and others. The role will require particularly strong emphasis on supporting the UK and Germany’s marketing needs and programming. 

The role will operate in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position requires a strong passion for building end to end marketing programs and the ability to be accountable for delivering on marketing KPIs and optimizing the customer journey.

Responsibilities

Support EMEA Marketing team with the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain regional alignment to global branding, messaging, and strategy in marketing programs across all the different EMEA markets with a strong focus on supporting the UK and Germany’s marketing needs and programming, as the market develops. 
  • Assist in delivering end-to-end marketing programs and create necessary accompanying materials including whitepapers, blogs, emails, presentations, social banners, paid media assets etc.
  • Assist in managing seller’s request for pre RFP or RFP support based on account priority with experiential campaigns (virtual or onsite events, branded gifts/kits etc.) and execute accordingly to achieve maximum ROI
  • Own execution of conference sponsorships with key industry partners (The Drum, Adzine, Horizont, IAB etc.) and facilitate sales teams on attendance and briefings.
  • Produce client gifting and swag programs across sales teams; Manage ordering, tracking, and distribution for all items
  • Support and execute high priority regional programs to help drive client retention and experience
  • Track expenses, vendor invoicing and contracts across all campaigns
  • Work closely with creative team on marketing & promotional needs for campaigns
  • Oversee Marketing Associate, EMEA in managing seller’s request for sales opportunity support based on account priority with experiential campaigns and execute accordingly to achieve maximum ROI
  • Partner with regional agency sponsorships to drive thought leadership and lead gen within the region
  • Track measurement of campaigns in Salesforce from audience attendance, client feedback, RFP generation and closed revenue

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 3+years of work experience, ideally with a mix of experiences across marketing, events, production or lead generation in high growth tech companies

Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English required, German a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of marketing channels andproject management
  • Ability to understand a marketing strategy at a regional level
  • Proficient in marketing tools and operations (Salesforce, Hubspot, Ceros, Splash)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to partner with external vendors and lead to mutual benefit
  • Intermediate analytical skill sets and capabilities
