Note: GumGum currently operates in a ‘work from home’ virtual environment with sporadic opportunities for in-person business and morale events (health guidelines permitting). There will not be any requirement to go into the office on a daily basis moving forward. 


Achieving Belgium Sales Targets – This individual is primarily tasked with ensuring the business continues to develop and grow its relationship across Belgium with the ultimate goal of exceeding targets across the region. The Sales director Belgium needs to develop local sales strategies and local marketing strategies in cooperation with the EMEA HQ.

Team Management – Managing, motivating, and training the Belgium Sales team on a day-to-day basis. Helping to define strategic approach for new and existing business.

Personal Revenue Development – Actively being out in market pitching GumGum to an owned patch of clients and contributing to the overall revenue generation in the market.

Relationship Development – Continue to develop existing relationships to help increase the profile of GumGum across the agency group and open doors whilst also working hard to cultivate new senior relationships.  

Internal Collaboration – Work closely with all aspects of the business including operations, publisher development and marketing to ensure your team is working effectively with each component. Feedback key updates from clients on how we can better support their businesses.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of solid selling with a particular expertise and knowledge of the Belgium Market
  • Sales team management
  • Must have strong selling experience and a track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Solid knowledge of the digital industry and the latest trends across the market.
  • An amazing list of senior contacts across Belgium with an industry reputation to match.
  • Leading applicable buying agreement conversation and securing investment
  • People management skills – knowing how to flex different styles in order to get the best out of individuals and motivate to create a happy and successful team.
  • PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
  • Must possess superb written and verbal communication skills, trilingual is a plus
  • Attention to detail and organization in daily tasks
  • Confident with speaking in public
  • Looking for someone who can lead from the front with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to lead a conversation with senior agency stakeholders.
  • Happy to get hands dirty to help the team and drive business forward.
  • Proactive not reactive in approach with a strategic mindset
  • Flexible and can adjust quickly to changing demands or strategies
  • Is open and welcoming of change and innovation
