Roles for The Beehive are all onsite in Denver.  The Beehive is an Early Childhood Education Center for children of Guild Education Denver employees, located adjacent to our Denver offices.  

As an Account Director, Learning Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for developing Guild’s new academic partnerships with universities and other innovative learning providers. You’ll drive complex partnering structures, cultivating deals from initial conversation through contract review and close. All of this is in the service of building and scaling our rapidly growing learning marketplace or best-in-class programs for working adult learners.

A day might look like:

  • Engage with senior level leaders at universities and learning providers to establish new Guild Certified Partnerships to grow the Guild academic portfolio of offerings
  • Evangelize the Guild “why”, while deeply understanding the needs of the partner organization
  • Follow a disciplined, consultative sales process, focus on thoughtfully moving deals through the pipeline
  • Design proposals and contracts that support the strategic goals of Guild and prospective partners through thoughtful design, likely to include economic arrangements, rollout strategy, implementation planning, product marketing, and preferred education offerings to meet the needs of our corporate partners and their employees
  • Establish cross-functional working relationships across Guild, including with our employer partnerships teams, product, marketplace delivery, account management, and operations teams to provide visibility and feedback into new partners likely to close and where to best collaborate to successfully generate new academic partner interest
  • Managing the complete, timely, and accurate reflection of all deals in Salesforce
  • Driving excellence in internal and external partnerships, including serving as peer mentor to other members of the Business Development team

In this role, you’ll grow and expand your expertise by:

  • Understanding factors that affect strategy at different academic institutions and becoming an expert at uncovering those challenges while effectively educating partners on the changing landscape of the future of work and education.
  • Learning the ins and outs of Guild as you use your organizational, multitasking, and problem solving skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven, and dynamic environment.
  • Scaling our academic partnerships capabilities, including our strategy, contracts, and go-to-market planning.

  • 8+ years of consultative selling experience, with deep intellectual curiosity, and a proven track record of exceeding past sales targets, and managing complex, multi-year agreements
