Your Role: We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Assistant Teachers to support mixed-age classrooms of Infants, Toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 3-6) in a Montessori environment.
In a Montessori setting, teachers create an environment that encourages independence and curiosity. Guides (teachers) provide individualized support through hands-on lessons, showing children how to use materials and guiding them to explore activities at their own pace. This approach helps each child develop essential skills, confidence, and a strong sense of capability.
We are looking for Teacher Assistants who are dedicated to helping children reach their highest potential!
Responsibilities:
- Observe children closely to understand and meet their unique needs
- Prepare an inviting and organized environment that promotes independence and focus
- Provide individual and small-group lessons to support each child’s growth
- Build meaningful connections with children and cultivate a respectful, collaborative classroom community
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children ages 0-6
- Background in roles such as nanny, babysitter, education, or customer service
