We're looking for an independent, reliable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Security Officer to join our team to support our multi-campus Montessori Hollywood Beach school! Our ideal candidate will work part-time from 2:00 to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Some of the core responsibilities include:
- Securing and patrolling the property
- Walking the children from campus to campus with teachers
- Interact with children, parents, and visitors in a warm, joyful, respectful manner
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities to identify patterns.
- Notify leadership team about any situations or issues and collaborate on required action plan
- Contributes to the larger team to accomplish the goals of the school
- Actively participate in annual professional development and complete all necessary training
- Participate in regular staff meetings, including one-on-one meetings with Campus Director
This role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, and learn more about Montessori education! Our last Security Guard took our internal Montessori training to become a Lead Elementary Teacher.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 0-15 is preferred
- 2+ years of security guard experience is preferred
- Valid negative TB test taken within last 12 months (prior to start date with Guidepost)
- Familiarity with the Montessori approach to education is preferred, but not required
