We are hiring a Kitchen Manager / Bus Driver for our lovely Guidepost Montessori school at South Naperville!
We're looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable kitchen manager as well as a bus driver who is excited about contributing to a larger school community.
This position is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We are flexible on the start date because we are looking for the right person to take on this role and join the community long term.
This role is a great opportunity to join a community of friendly, passionate people looking to make a difference in children's lives. If you are organized, fastidious and quick this is a wonderful opportunity to manage your own kitchen. Being knowledgeable about food allergies and responsive to those needs, while preparing the snacks and lunches for the day are crucial.
About You
- Excited about working around young children
- Food Handler or Food Manager
- Ability to work well with other adults and children
- Growth mindset and problem-solving approach
- 2+ years of kitchen experience
- Experience as a school bus driver
- 21 years old or a licensed bus driver
- Have a valid driver's license
- No convictions of driving under the influence or any other impaired driving offense.
