Guideline is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. You will be joining a distributed team of 40+ including remote employees and employees based near our offices - San Diego, CA; San Mateo, CA; Austin, TX; and Portland, ME. As a Quality Engineer at a fast-growing company, you’ll have the opportunity to evolve the way the company does testing and deliver dependable software to our customers.
What you will be working on
Build out test automation, frameworks, and strategy for ensuring quality products and code.
Identify opportunities for testing and guide teams on how and when to test.
Work closely with the engineers as well as our designers, product and support teams to test, troubleshoot and document issues.
Develop a deep understanding of our product functionality by diving deep to solve interesting and complex problems.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience working on testing software products and platforms.
Solid fundamentals in network technologies, API integrations and testing, and white-box testing.
Exposure to testing for mobile, analyzing logs, CI/CD pipelines, and modern infrastructure (ours is built in GCP, Kubernetes and Docker).
