Are you an experienced salesperson with a passion for the beverage industry? Do you have a knack for developing strategic sales plans and fostering strong customer relationships? Guayaki Yerba Mate is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive sales and expand our market presence within the Eastern Canada region.

The Key Account Manager will play a critical role in driving growth and maintaining strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills who can effectively manage high-value accounts and contribute to Guayaki’s continued success. 

What you'll do for Guayaki:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key retail and distribution accounts to drive sales and brand presence. 
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement tailored sales strategies that align with account needs and company objectives. 
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and leverage industry knowledge to expand market share. 
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability and meet business targets. 
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to drive improvements. 
  • Customer Support: Address and resolve any issues or concerns from key accounts promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. 
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to proactively address challenges and opportunities. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of account strategies. 

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • 5+ years of key account management or a similar sales role, preferably within the beverage or CPG industry.
  • Proven success in sales and account management growth in a customer/consumer-facing business.
  • Reliable vehicle and smartphone.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Preferred experience with natural/organic consumable products.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
  • Travel requirements: 20-30%.
  • Full-time, remote position available to candidates in Ontario, Canada.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
