In our C++ teams in Leuven (BE) and Munich (DE) we work on our LLVM-based solution, iXGuard. By applying code transformations, code injection, binary instrumentation, code analysis, and more, this product focuses on hardening iOS applications against reverse engineering, both static analysis and dynamic tampering.
Xcode Instruments is a powerful tool that allows introspection of (iOS) applications that supports custom profiles to collect and aggregate runtime data to your needs. Default profiles include memory profiling, performance, file activity, network, etc … . Within this realm of low-level runtime profiling, in this internship you can show off your creativity to explore how far we can take this towards out-of-the-box ideas for debugging obfuscation.
