Duration: 1+ months
In our Munich-based app analysis iOS team we work on tools to automatically analyze iOS apps. Our software is based on the LLVM toolchain for static analysis.
Once native libraries are stripped, it is not obvious anymore where methods begin. In this internship you will investigate different approaches and tools to reconstruct method boundaries, and even method names in stripped iOS apps. You will write a proof of concept that takes an iOS application as input and outputs the reconstructed method boundaries and all reconstructed method names.
- Experience with Python and native code
