In our Munich-based app analysis iOS team we work on tools to automatically analyze iOS apps. Our software is based on the LLVM toolchain for static analysis.
Developers of iOS apps can include several libraries into their app during development, either as a static or a dynamic framework. During analysis of an app, it is important to determine which frameworks are used, and which code is from the developers themselves. In this internship you will investigate how those frameworks can be detected, and write a prototype which takes a compiled app as input, and outputs the detected frameworks.
- Experience with C++ and low level programming
- Interest in code analysis and reverse engineering
- Ability to independently perform structured research into a topic
