At GrowthDay, we are in search of a Tech Lead Manager to lead and inspire our dynamic team of engineers, product managers, and designers in delivering our transformative product. In this role, you will lead by example, setting goals and objectives, delegating tasks, and ensuring the team meets deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You'll work collaboratively with other managers and leaders to align the team's efforts with the company's overarching goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of skilled software engineers, fostering a culture of growth and camaraderie.
- Establish clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Oversee project timelines, driving the team to meet deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality work.
- Collaborate with other engineering managers to ensure cohesion and alignment of the team's efforts with company goals.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends, keeping our team at the forefront of industry advancements.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, nurturing their growth within the team and the company.
- Cultivate a culture of growth, joy, and camaraderie within the team, where every member thrives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proven experience in leadership and team management within a software development context.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong technical acumen.
- Expertise in development using React, React Native, Java, and AWS.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
