We are looking for a Debt Collections Agent for our German and Austrian markets to join our talented Finance team in Berlin.

As a Debt Collections Agent, you will:

  • Contact customers (telephonically and in writing) and inform them of overdue payments
  • Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
  • Respond to customer queries
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Update account status and database
  • Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary

We are looking for a passionate Debt Collections Agent, with:

  • At least 2 years working experience as a debt collections agent
  • Customer service orientation
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • The ability to multitask and work with targets and tight deadlines
  • Experience with MS Office and Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and telephone)
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Fluency English and German
