Position Summary:

Greenworks is seeking an experienced senior digital marketing manager for our commercial division. This role is responsible for developing and executing the digital strategy using their experience with B2B acquisition and retention strategies as well as digital marketing and eCommerce. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will work with both the commercial team and the digital team to create a digital experience for B2B customers in our commercial division. Responsibilities will include B2B lead generation for landscapers, executing a content strategy, coordinating with creative services, working with creators, digital marketing coordination for events, promotional planning, digital campaign support for dealers, and direct email campaigns with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

The ideal candidate is strategically minded and understands both direct-to-customer sales and lead generation. B2B experience is a must and eCommerce experience is a bonus. Proven leadership skills and experience will help them collaborate cross-functionally, with teams including marketing operations, development, and product. This position reports directly to the Director of Digital Commerce.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Strategy

  • Responsible for budget management as well as strategy and execution of retention and acquisition programs (Email, SMS, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SEO, Promotions, SEM)
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly channel performance reporting as well as tracking key KPIs and forecasts
  • Quantify the business impact of campaigns and digital marketing and continue to evaluate and refine to maximize program effectiveness.
  • Identifying trends in the data that can inform roadmap/longer-term initiatives
  • Work with the Director of Digital Commerce to develop customer forecasts, aligning goals with business priorities backed by actionable retention plans and initiatives.
  • Develop playbooks for promotional versus non-promotional driven digital strategies

 

Management

  • Oversee the ongoing campaign development, execution, and management of digital programs, executed across marketing channels and consumer touchpoints
  • Oversee and develop a content strategy in partnership with the creative team
  • Transform customer data into actionable insights, defining key KPIs, to track program effectiveness, customer migration, and loyalty over time.
  • Ensure data is interpreted and provided in an accurate, actionable, and consistent manner to internal teams.
  • Develop, manage, and scale lifecycle marketing - existing and new customer loyalty strategies to drive business goals
  • Ensure that campaign setup and execution support category strategy and goals, aligning with the Digital Commerce team and cross-functional partners to make shifts to strategy to support

 

Interdisciplinary & Agency Partnerships

  • Partner with Digital Agencies (Paid Partnerships) to plan and implement digital strategies, reporting out results monthly to further the testing roadmap
  • Partner with Product team to ensure the customer experience on commercial.greenworkstools.com delivers on the marketing strategy but also aligns with their launch cycles
  • Create and facilitate a formal process to report and update all key partners and senior leadership on all programs, initiatives, and customer KPIs
  • Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional partners to support programs that will profitably grow the business, maximize customer retention, acquisition, and reactivation

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in B2B digital marketing
  • Leadership experience and skills
  • Acquisition and Retention marketing experience in lifecycle programs, segmentation, and automation strategy.
  • Strong strategy and analytics skills, with an advanced understanding of success metrics
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Google Analytics is a plus
  • eCommerce experience is a plus
  • Strong ability to assess competing priorities and multi-task
  • Capacity to quickly learn and navigate several internal processes, procedures, as well as data and content development processes
  • Proficiency in synthesizing and interpreting data and customer insights into successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, plus the ability to clearly articulate and express complex and sometimes technical ideas to a wide variety of people and groups at any level
