The Role

Our new Receptionist will be responsible for receiving guests and employees ensuring they are complaint for building access as required by the state Cannabis Compliance Board. Badging and tracking badging of guest and employees access and egress of the building is a major responsibility for this position. Our next Receptionist will also be responsible for hosting and setting up events and employee engagement activities while demonstrating respect and dignity with a positive attitude at all times.
 
Our SUPER Receptionist will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and administrative related tasks. The right candidate will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as additional responsibilities as time allows to support the flow of the cultivation facility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and record the inflow and outflow of people entering and exiting the cultivation facility.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; maintaining visitor/delivery logs; issuing visitor badges.
  • Monitor security cameras.
  • Receive authorization as needed for visitors/contractors.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner.
  • Generates reports as necessary.
  • Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
  • Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
  • Other office support and customer service related activities as assigned by management.
  • Serve as backup for other departments as needed.
  • Arranging and scheduling travel and accommodations.
  • Assist in the ordering, scheduling and planning of events and lunches.
  • Must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
  • Must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their manager.
  • Maintenance of the PPE for visitors/contractors.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and fosters a positive work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education and Experience:
    • High School Education or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
    • 2 years of administrative experience; 4 years related experience preferred.
  • Must be competent in:
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
    • Flexibility
    • Communication Proficiency
    • Collaboration Skills

Additional Requirements

  • Nevada driver’s license or State ID card
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must be approved by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board to receive an Agent badge

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly reach, grasp, bend, stand, walk, sit, talk, and listen. 
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as it relates to the office environment.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
