The Role

We are looking for a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering medical cannabis products to Green Thumb's customers. If you have at least 1 year of professional driving experience and a positive, can-do attitude, keep reading!

Responsibilities

Driving Responsibilities:

  • Load the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the day
  • Interpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical cannabis
  • Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, check and add fluids, etc)
  • Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept and manifests are returned completed and ready for filing
  • Maintaining positive professional relationships with dispensary staff
  • Timely and effective communication when issues arise while making deliveries

Dispatcher Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with drivers/ customers regarding order accuracy
  • Ensure appropriate manifest process and log per state guidance
  • Ability to edit/cancel orders within the dispatching system
  • Make decisions on when to Single and/or Batch orders dependent on volume

Personal Care Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment
  • Utilize product and consumption-method knowledge to successfully recommend a safe and effective regimen suited to each patient’s specific needs
  • Ensure sales floor is properly stocked and presence of the store is well maintained
  • Own responsibility for remaining up-to-date with product knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional driving experience
  • Demonstrated initiative and proactive attitude, as well as independent judgment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees
  • Employee must be able to follow instructions as directed and incorporate constructive criticism from managers

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must pass required background checks, including Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work a 12-hour day when needed
  • Role includes sitting, standing, or walking for prolonged periods of time, as well as stooping, sitting, bending over and/or crouching
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
  • Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
