Summary
The Manager will focus primarily on ensuring our clients have a world class experience whenever reviewing our products that is consistent across sites. They will ensure seamless coordination of work-transfers between the manufacturing sites and the installation sites. As the lead manufacturing representative during client inspections they will organize, host and translate client observations into actionable items that are tracked throughout their lifecycle from inception to closure regardless of the site. Travel will be common with support required at various manufacturing and installation sites that fall under the production team’s responsibility. Interpreting client observations into clearly articulable actions that address their needs is essential.
The ideal candidate will have the experience and skills to serve as the internal coordinator for discrepancy resolution. They will be able to see our products through the clients’ eyes, anticipating their needs and addressing their observations. They will have experience with Quality and Manufacturing teams as well as aircraft modifications. Behaviorally, they will be comfortable operating in a development and prototype environment and able to pivot and change plans as necessary to support programs.
Organizationally, the Manager will report to the Director, Manufacturing and perform as a key member of the multi-site extended leadership team. They will also support the Quality and Installation organizations. Regular engagement with client representatives during on-site visits will be the norm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, and controls activities related to client on-site inspections.
- Establishing and maintaining accurate records of inspections and resolutions.
- Coordinating internal stakeholders to achieve resolution.
- Maintain tracking and reporting tools for regular and timely client reporting on progress.
- Continuously improve inspection processes and protocols.
- Foster positive client relationships.
- Coordinate and lead the Manufacturing Ready to Start process meetings.
- Lead daily GEMBA activities and actively contribute to Kaizen workshops.
- Contributes to FOD audits, 5S, Safety compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management, design, engineering, project, and other teams as necessary.
- Close engagement and coordination with the Manufacturing and Installation teams.
- Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering disciplines with a minimum of 12 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aerospace background or aircraft interior industry experience required.
Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.
