Collect digital trading cards of your favorite players, level them up, unlock rewards, challenge friends to mini games and deck your Greenie out in your best gear. We are currently partnering with Riot Games, the LCS, NBA, La Liga with other esports & sports leagues coming soon.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop and automate large scale, high-performance data processing systems (batch and streaming)
  • Evangelize high quality software engineering practices towards building data infrastructure and pipelines at scale
  • Design our data models for optimal storage and retrieval and to meet critical product and business requirements
  • Own the code you write including manually testing, writing automated tests and participating in on-call schedules
  • Work as part of a team to design and develop high scale, low latency, fault tolerant applications
  • Research, analyze, recommend, and select technical approaches for solving challenging and complex development and integration problems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience
    5+ years of experience working in data engineering
  • Expert level knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working and knowledge of data warehousing technologies and ETL tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Attention to detail
  • Bonus for experience with:
    • Go programming language
    • Google Cloud Platform product and services (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc)
      dbt
    • Familiarity with common analytics, ad serving and related services (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Kochava, Segment, Adjust, Branch, Braze, Google Analytics, AdMob, IronSource, Mopub) and their APIs
