About this role:

We're looking for an entrepreneurial spirit who is eager to grow their sales career as a Sales Development Representative. Our Sales Development organization represents our initial point of contact with future customers. Our team is the launchpad into more complex selling motions and a proving ground for individuals to learn the MedTech industry, qualify marketing leads, and partner with Account Executives to create new business opportunities. 

Ideally, the right candidate will possess a passion for sales, great time management skills, excellent organization, and a track record of success in quota-carrying sales roles. Success in this role unlocks additional opportunities for promotion inside of the role with an ability to get promoted to roles in our teams as business needs dictate.

This SDR will join a team of tenured peers who are experienced in fielding and developing interest in our product lines. You will work as an extension of our Account Based (ABX) go-to-market strategy and will be responsible for creating a qualified, new business pipeline in the form of Sales Accepted Opportunities. 

Your contributions and responsibilities:

  • Creating a world-class buying experience for prospects as an extension of our brand and a culture of true quality
  • Quickly responding to interest via marketing leads and qualifying these prospects via brief, introductory, qualifying calls using a BANT methodology
  • Collaborating with Account Executives and peers to create a world class buying experience for prospects
  • Demonstrating ownership of your book of business by managing a consistent pipeline of daily activities and showcasing how those influence down funnel outcomes associated to qualified pipeline 
  • Working closely with the sales team and other internal stakeholders to ensure continuous pipeline growth
  • Participating in twice-weekly enablement sessions to promote the development of subject matter expertise in the MedTech industry, sales skills, as well as Sales Acumen 
  • Within 6-9 months you will be expected to demonstrate consistent growth and quota attainment to progress within this role. We often see our Sales Development representatives transition to full-cycle Account Executive roles within 18 months - 2 years  

Your ideal qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience required, preferably in the B2B SaaS space
  • Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in a remote setting
  • Extremely organized, ability to work autonomously, and highly accountable 
  • Have a passion for Sales and a track record of success in an SDR, BDR, or quota-carrying role 
  • Track record of success partnering cross-functionally with others to create impact 
  • Experience strategically analyzing accounts via Sales tools to map compelling messaging to key personas 
  • An ability to successfully navigate change and possess a growth mindset in a fast-paced environment
  • Competent user of traditional SaaS sales tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Gong)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a sales-focused environment

This role can be located within the United States or Canada. The base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $50,000, though actual base salary is determined by factors such as, but not limited to, experience, education, skills, and geographic location.  Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and equity.
