Role Overview:
Grayscale is seeking a talented Quant Developer with a passion for crypto and coding. You will help with things like building and maintaining a data platform, automating trading strategies, and conducting strategy research. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for innovation, have proficiency in working with blockchain data, and contribute to the establishment of a 'self-serve' data platform and product strategy pipeline at Grayscale.
Responsibilities:
- Develop metrics and SQL queries to extract valuable insights from data.
- Facilitate the setup of a 'self-serve' data platform, ensuring accessibility to trusted data across the organization.
- Maintain the performance dashboard for Grayscale Dynamic Income Fund (GDIF).
- Build prototypes for cutting-edge blockchain and data-related innovations.
- Automate trading strategies and trading algorithms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier Computer Science, or Financial Engineering or Data Science program.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, with proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go/Rust.
- Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda and EC2.
- Proficiency in working with databases and data queries, Snowflake and SQL required.
- Enthusiasm and passion for the crypto space; prior experience is a plus, but exceptional skills and alignment with our mission are paramount.
- Experience with blockchain data like Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto, and Defillama.
- Strong drive and high standards to produce excellent results, with a proven track record.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with an ability to work both independently and on a fast-paced team.
- Team oriented with desire to learn from and share knowledge with others.
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
