About the Job:

Grayscale is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to be the connective tissue between the marketing and sales teams at Grayscale. This individual will be dedicated to project managing and supporting the sales team’s field marketing needs, including event planning, collateral management, regional partnerships, vendor relationships, and more. They will also work closely with both teams on lead generation, lead nurturing, and KPI tracking. Reporting into our VP of Marketing, the ideal candidate for this position will be a marketer at heart, with a sales-oriented mindset.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interface between marketing and sales to ensure strategic cohesion and aligned priorities
  • Codify processes and best practices on how marketing and sales can work more effectively together
  • Deploy go-to-market plans against sales/business development goals, project manage all sales-related marketing activities, including conference participation, material fulfillment, email marketing, etc.
  • Quarterback writing and creating marketing and sales content (one-pagers, decks, presentations, etc.) for sales use
  • Track the efficacy of marketing campaigns and produce analysis/diagnosis back to marketing and sales to maximize agreed-upon KPIs
  • Spearhead joint marketing and sales initiatives such as bespoke events, virtual webinars, educational programs, community partnerships, etc.
  • Ideate and experiment with marketing initiatives to drive prospective client interest and engagement
  • Oversee the marketing budget allocation and planning for sales initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in either marketing or sales function 
  • Experience successfully developing and project managing marketing and sales initiatives
  • Experience writing and creating sales and promotional materials
  • Experience working in an agile environment with multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, and layered stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent critical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to operate independently on brand new initiatives with no precedence, and to manage workflows on simultaneous projects
  • Experience with financial markets, investment concepts, client segmentation preferred
  • Interest in crypto a plus
